計畫運作 HOW IT WORKS
THEMATIC: The incoming residents will be selected based on a theme (can be in the form of a topic, question or hypothesis) and the collaborative outcomes will be surrounding that topic.
The current group of residents will decide and select the theme for the next 3-months, which will be used to select new residents.
HOST: One resident from the current group will be elected as the new host for the next batch, they will get to extend their stay (with a discount) for another 3-months! They will have the power and responsibility to enforce ground-rules, facilitate collaboration and support the next group of residents. Incoming residents should consider whether they want to be a future host during application.
CO-LEARNING: Each resident will contribute to the community through teaching one skill related to the topic throughout the 3-months, it can be anything! Storytelling, accapella, baking, blog writing, meditation, venture investing, elderly care etc.. anything! Just have to have an idea during the application process.
OPEN DAY: At the end of the three-months, the current residents will create an experience that summarises the co-creation of the residency and share with the wider community! The residents can use the 3-months to prepare for it, or it can be a simple sharing of the reflections gained. Format can be a dinner, a music concert of songs written, a poetry night of reflections, a film screening, an art show, a venture pitching night, a performance art night, etc..! Be creative!
KNOWLEDGE BANK: The past projects, writings, videos made by residents will be stored in a collective database for future residents’ reference.
GROUND-RULES: A set of evolving rules that the residents collectively build and test, what works and what doesn’t. How to facilitate the best experience for everyone.
CULTURE: A softer set of social norms and behaviour that is co-created by the residents and passed through by the host.
PHILOSOPHY: The foundational principle that all residents will be selected by: living life with a conscious connection between the body-mind-spirit-society-planet.
ALUMNI: The collective group of residents will be each other’s support networks!
